Montreal-born Grenadian-Canadian artist Kaïa Kater brings her jazz-inflected voice and skilled banjo playing to the Strines Nightingale. Drawing on influences spanning Quebec, the Caribbean, and Appalachia, she performs material from her JUNO-winning album Strange Medicine, which features collaborations with artists including Taj Mahal and Allison Russell.
